Zelma May Folger, 72, of Syracuse, passed away at her home Wednesday, March 16, 2016
She was born February 26, 1944 in Elkhart to Henry LaMar and Dorothea (Mullen) Kilmer.
On May 18, 1963 she married Charles Ray Folger in Syracuse. He died March 10, 2002.
Survivors include four children, Donna (Mitchell) Moseng of Elkhart, Tonna (Daniel) Gilson of Syracuse, Charles Bryan (Kim) Folger of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Shanna Gaume of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, LaMar Kilmer.
A 1962 graduate of Syracuse High School, Mrs. Folger worked at Bashor Children’s Home for ten years before retiring in 2000.
She was a member of People’s Bible Church and active in Women’s Bible Study Fellowship where she was a children’s leader for 10 years. She enjoyed gardening.
Friends may call Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2016, funeral service will be conducted. Pastor John Randolph will officiate.
Burial will follow in New Paris Cemetery.
