Yvonne N. Scott

Yvonne Noreen (Marks) Scott, 82, of Syracuse, IN, bravely fought cancer and died peacefully while surrounded by family on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

She was born on March 10, 1942 in Chicago Heights, IL.

Yvonne is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Scott; her son, John (Sue) Scott, granddaughters, Megan and Emily Scott, and her brother, Richard (Dawn) Marks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ida Marks.

Throughout her life, Yvonne cherished her time with friends and family, particularly enjoying moments spent with her granddaughters on Dewart Lake. Known for her loving and loyal nature, she created a warm and welcoming environment for everyone around her. Yvonne's life will be remembered and celebrated by those who were fortunate to know her.

A 12:30 p.m. memorial service will take place Thursday, November 14, at New Salem Church of the Brethren. Rev. Timothy T. Yoder will officiate.

A private entombment will take place at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.
