Wm. Dean Chupp

Wm. Dean Chupp, 66, of Bristol, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born September 5, 1951 in Rennselaer to Levi and Ella Mae (Hochstetler) Chupp.

On November 27, 1982 he married Jane M. White in Bristol.

She survives along with three children, Mary Jane, Katie and Joshua Chupp, all of Bristol; a grandson Gilbert Damron and three sisters, Sara Jean Zook of Goshen, Susie (Lynn) Kauffman of Middlebury and Sheryle (Bob) Barden of Goshen.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sophia Baker.

A 1970 graduate of Fairfield High School, the first graduating class, Mr. Chupp retired as a cost estimator from Parker, Goshen.

He was an active member of the Bristol United Methodist Church, where he played bass guitar with the worship team and with Lovability, a ministry to the handicapped.  He enjoyed woodworking photography and target practicing.

Friends may call Sunday, July 15, 2018, from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. funeral service at Bristol United Methodist Church, 201 S. Division Street. Pastor Gary Lewis will officiate.

Cremation will follow the service.

Memorials may be given to National Kidney Foundation of Indiana.
