Wilma Mast, 95, Goshen, died on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Goshen Hospital.
She was born February 28, 1930, in Middlebury, to Christ J. and Abbigail (Lehman) Miller. Wilma married James Mast on January 29, 1951, in Nappanee. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 2005.
Surviving are daughters Carolyn (Curtis) Carcione, Wolcottville, Darlene Covington, Goshen, and Marlene (Jeff) Hart, Savanah, TN; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister Mary Ellen Beachy, Goshen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Keith Mast in 1974, granddaughter Rachel in 1990, son-in-law Ron Covington, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
Wilma worked at Peddler’s Village and Super Steer and worked both in the kitchen and as a cook. She was a member of East Goshen Mennonite Church and had a strong faith. Wilma enjoyed baking, cooking, and making goods for others. She was most importantly known for being a kind and gentle woman and was extremely devoted to her family.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 1-3 p.m., at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, and from 9:30 until the 10:30 a.m. funeral service, on Monday, April 7, also at the funeral home. Pastor Naomi Yoder Hess will officiate.
Burial will follow at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery.
