Wilma M. Mast

Wilma M. Mast, 81, of Middlebury, died Friday, May 17,2019,  at her home.

She was born February 28, 1938 in Pigeon, Michigan to Harry and Lydia (Shetler) Teuscher.

On October 28, 1972 she married Milfred Mast in Pigeon, Michigan.

He survives along with a daughter, Laura Mast of Middlebury; extended Kenyan family, Lorna (John) Kaitei and their children, Natasha, Eliana and Hannah of Chicago, Illinois and Sitatian (Simon) Kaitei and their children, Lesean, Yiantia and Tayiana of Dallas, Texas;  a brother, Wayne Teuscher of Fort Wayne; sisters, Carol Beachey Voth of Memphis, Tennessee, Ruth (Bob) Rice of Auburn, Pennsylvania and Pat (Wayne) Gascho of East Earl, Pennsylvania and a brother-in-law, Leroy “Lefty” Miller of Goshen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marjorie Miller; infant sister; and sister-in-law, Judy Teuscher.

Mrs. Mast was a 30-year attender of Pleasant View Church.  She served a year in Germany as a Mennonite trainee.  She worked in the claims processing office at Everence, Goshen.

Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 25, 2019, from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at Pleasant View Church.  Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery with a memorial service starting at 10:30 a.m.  Pastors Tyler Hartford and Ron Diener will officiate.

Memorial gifts may be given to Pleasant View Church or Faith Mission, Elkhart.
