Wilma Kline, 94, died Friday afternoon, December 11, 2009, at her home, where she had been ill for the past several months.  She was born to the late Willard and Almeda (Bryner) Prough on May 5, 1915, in LaGrange County, Indiana.  She married Merritt George Kline on July 19, 1945, in Middlebury, Indiana.  He preceded her in death on August 8, 1999.  A homemaker, Mrs. Kline also worked at Abitibi, Middlebury, for five years.  She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fish Lake, where she served as a council member and also as the secretary/treasurer.  She graduated from Shipshewana High School in 1932.  She is survived by one daughter, Almeda (Jon) Troyer, Middlebury; and three grandchildren, Kevin, Justin, and Malinda Troyer.  She was preceded in death by five sisters, Lena Shank, Grace Sheffield, Bessie Myers, Bertha Green, Imogene Sherck; and four brothers, Sam Prough, John Prough, Charley Prough, and Chauncey Prough.  Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2009, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  A 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 18, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Cuthbert Pauluhn, of St. John’s Lutheran Church, will be officiating. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.  Memorials may be made out to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
