Willis “Ed” Stahley, 72, of Goshen, died Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at The Elkhart Meadows.

He was born January 11, 1951 in Goshen to Forrest and Shirley (Hartman) Stahley.

On November 9, 2013 he married Brenda Sue (Wilden) Kramer.

She survives along with two sons, Jackson Mitchell of Colorado and Logan Stahley of Warsaw; a step-daughter, Heather (Josh) Staley of Goshen; his mother Shirley Stahley of Wakarusa; two step-grandchildren, Willow and Livia Staley and a sister, Abbie (Tim) Boyer of Nappanee.

He was preceded in death by his father Forrest Stahley.

Ed was a Green Bay Packers fan and a proud owner of one share of the team.

A Nappanee Bulldog, he graduated in 1969 from Nappanee High School, the last graduating class before the consolidation creating Northwood High School.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in education from I.U. and pursued a career in sales including a Heckaman Home dealership in Nappanee. He will be dearly missed.

A visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 2 until the 4 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Austin Kaufman, Goshen First Brethren Church, will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be directed to his family to help with funeral expenses.
