William "Bill" Walton, Sr.

William “Bill” F. Walton, Sr., 91, of Goshen died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at his home.

He was born July 5, 1926 in Twelve Mile to Clem and Opal (Drudge) Walton.

On Dec. 31, 1948 he married Rosemary Barnes in Wabash. She died Sept. 18, 2015.

He is survived by two daughters, Janet (Steven) Bolock of Syracuse, and Sue (Scott Pierce) Rader of Goshen; seven grandchildren, John Stafford, Fred Stafford, Brandy (Lachlan) Cavanagh, Seth (Shannon) Bolock, Josh Stafford, Lacey (John) Woodiel and Chris Rader; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Barnes; and a brother-in-law, George (Rosemary) Barnes, both of Wabash.

Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, William F. Walton, Jr.; a daughter, Marla Stafford; sons-in-law, Virgil Stafford and Amos Martin, Jr.; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim Barnes, Willard (Lynette) Barnes, and Alice Marie (Charles) Cross.

Bill worked as a shift supervisor at Western Rubber Company, Goshen.  He was an avid collector and enjoyed food auctions and garage sales.  He especially loved time with his family.

Friends may call Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen where a 1 p.m. funeral service will be conducted Monday, June 4, 2018.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
