William "Bill" Walter Fawley

William “Bill” Walter Fawley, 69, of Elkhart, died Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Majestic Care in Goshen.

He was born June 11, 1953 in Elkhart to Howard Chester and Inabelle Bernadine (Secor) Fawley.

He is survived by a brother, David (Ruth) Fawley, Rowland, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Nancy Fawley, Elkhart and eight nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Stickel and Carol Fawley; a brother, Jerry Fawley and a nephew, Brad Fawley.

Bill was a sports fanatic, a number one fan of the Cubs and Notre Dame. He had an incredible memory of previous games. He loved going to church and being in “God’s House”. He worked at Arby’s in Goshen for over 20 years and enjoyed his time there. He was involved with the Aktion Club and participated in the Special Olympics where he bowled. He will be missed by many people that he touched.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and Thursday, May 11 from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Faith United Methodist Church, 22045 County Road 18, Goshen IN 46528 . Rev. John Hogsett will officiate.

Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
