William C. Stucky

William C. Stucky, 86, of Goshen died Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Berne on November 19, 1933, the son of Gilbert and Wilhemina “Minnie” (Depp) Stucky.

On June 26, 1954, Bill married M. Jean Boshart in Goshen.

She survives along with three children, Debbie (John deceased) Barker, Deanna (John) Gotta and Steven (Janie deceased) now Anjali Stucky.  Four grandchildren, Cheryl (Keith) Harwood, Lori (Charlie) Cummings, Amy Barker, Andrew (Taylor) Stucky and three step-grandchildren; Adam, Kyle and Elise were added to the family tree along with six great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Loris Stucky and a sister, Maxine Lehman.

His career as a Financial Officer / Corporate Risk Manager, included Weyerhauser Corporation and Starcraft Corporation. He loved sailing, baseball, cars and Ham radio (ARRL). He was an ordained Elder at the Presbyterian Church (EPC) and active in volunteerism at Kiwanis, and especially within the church community.

A strong leader and a man of utmost integrity, Bill devoted himself to his family and friends, encouraging them to be responsible, moral and Godly, living his life as an example.

Private graveside services will take place at Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury, and will be officiated by Glen Francis, Moderator of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC).
