William Q. Stotts, 90, of Goshen died Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Greencroft Healthcare.
He was born July 4, 1929 in Goshen to Earl and Helen (Quinn) Stotts.
On June 18, 1958 he married Ruby J. Zimmerman. She died May 4, 2001.
Survivors include three children, Cheryl (Tim) Cripe, Carla Davis and David (Kellie) Stotts, all of Goshen and two grandchildren, Jordan and Derek Stotts.
Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Stotts.
Bill was a 1947 graduate of Goshen High School and remained a loyal supporter of the football and boys’ and girls’ basketball programs for many years.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Stotts worked at Goshen Hardware for more than 60 years. He was a longtime member of the Lions Club of Goshen and Plymouth United Church of Christ.
Bill enjoyed spending time at Lake Tippecanoe, sitting on the deck, fishing and watching his grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, February 17, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where an 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2020 funeral service will be held. Pastors Linda Sue Hewitt and David Boothby will officiate.
Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to Lions Club of Goshen or Plymouth United Church of Christ.
