William "Bill" T. Rosser, 80, of Goshen, went home to be with the Lord Monday morning, May 13, 2013 after a brief stay at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born February 13, 1933 in Macon, Mississippi, to Lamar and Katie (Watt) Rosser. On October 2, 1952 in Columbus, Mississippi, he married Margaret A. Moore. She survives along with two children, C. Diane (James) Showers, of Woolwich, New Jersey, and Mark T. Rosser, of New Paris; five grandchildren, Sarah Schmidt, Kasey Canty, Matthew Showers, Nickolas and Knute Rosser; and four great-grandchildren, Lincoln Showers, Axel Schmidt, Miles and Jazzlin Canty. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandchild, Nicole Rosser; two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Camden Showers; two sisters, Margaret Rosser and Willie Brady; and a brother, James Rosser. Mr. Rosser worked at Mogul Rubber Company for 47 years before retiring as a group leader. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Goshen. He loved to travel, spend time in the garden, and doing things for others always brought him joy. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 funeral service at First Baptist Church, Goshen. Dr. Gregg Lanzen and Pastor Louis Showers will officiate. Burial will follow at New Paris Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the First Baptist Church or The Friends of Israel.
