William H. Miller, Jr., 83, of Goshen, died early Thursday morning, August 19, 2010, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing. He was born May 3, 1927, in Lancaster, N.Y., to William H. and Amanda (Miller) Miller, Sr. He married Mary Ellen Zehr on August 17, 1951 in Topeka. She preceded him in 1995. Surviving are three sons, Chuck (Dawn) Miller of Wolcottville, Kirby (Julie) Miller of LaGrange and Randy (Pauline) Miller of Sarasota, Florida; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Catherine (Floyd) Brenneman of Dowagiac, Mich. and Irma (Enos) Yoder of Goshen. A member of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, including dirt track racing as a young adult. He was an avid White Sox fan. Friends may call 3 to 7 p.m., Sunday, August 22, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 23, 2010, service at Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, Goshen. Rev. Russ Hunsberger will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be made to Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.
