William "Joseph" Martin

William “Joseph” Martin, of Middlebury, 68, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born May 24, 1953, in Wabash to George and Alice (Boulware) Martin.

Mr. Martin is survived by 10 children, Melissa Twitchell of Fort Wayne, Michelle (Christopher) Yates of Gloucester, England, Gabriel Martin of Montana, Serra (Ryan) Zimmerman of Elkhart, Jonathan Martin of Michigan, Mary (Noel) Habashy of State College, Pennsylvania, Joseph Martin of LaGrange, Rebekah (Brian) Barrett of Vista California, Grace Martin of Middlebury and Matthew Martin of Florida; and 15 grandchildren.

He was a follower of Jesus who lived and shared Christ’s love through his interactions and kindnesses with the people he encountered.  He was an adventurer and explorer and took great delight in travelling all over the world.

Joseph was a brilliant man who excelled as a self-employed electrical engineer.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.  Family and friends will meet at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery.
