William H. Lantz

Bristol – William H. Lantz, 73, of Bristol, died Friday, April 15, 2011, at Hospice House of Elkhart. He was born in Noble County on October 25, 1937, to Robert S. and Verba (Reynolds) Lantz. He married Janette Witham in Elkhart on October 9, 1965.  She survives. Also surviving are four children, Robbin (Donald) Ely of Wakarusa, Candy (Eric) Roberts of Bristol, Todd Lantz of Bristol and Kimberly Lantz of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack (Donna) Lantz of Millersburg, and Elwood (Karen) Gustafson of Bristol; and a sister, Ellen Sue Frick of Kendallville. He was preceded in death by a son, William H. Lantz, Jr. and a sister, Carolyn Maxine Lantz. A woodworker and cabinetmaker, Mr. Lantz worked at Coachman and then Forest River, retiring in 1999.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, NASCAR, and woodworking.  Friends may call 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2011, graveside service will be conducted at Brown Cemetery with Pastor John Randolph officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice House.
