William "Bill" Duane Stroud

William "Bill" D. Stroud, 63, of Elkhart and formerly of Goshen, died Friday noon, October 25, 2013, at Golden Living Center where he had been a month. He was born June 1, 1950, in Decatur, Michigan, to Houston "Cleo" and Mildred (Zerbe) Weddell. He is survived by three children; Darla (Randall) Meredith of Goshen, Angel Stroud of Mishawaka and Duane Stroud of Goshen; five grandchildren; and six siblings, Melinda Miller, Joetta (Wallace) Vanhook, III, Jerry Stroud, Houston (Penny) Stroud, Jr., Roger Stroud and James Weddell, Jr., all of Goshen. He worked as a punch press operator at Flexsteel. Friends may call one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Harrison Cemetery, Decatur, Mich.
