William Fredrick Adams

William F. Adams, 67, of Goshen, died at his home Tuesday afternoon, October 18, 2011. He was born January 26, 1944 in Fawn River Township, Michigan to the late Alden and Lucile (Stiven) Adams. He married Natalie Hess March 29, 1975 in Elkhart. She survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Tina (Dale) Schlarb of Woodland; two step-sons, Bryan (Kristina) Winningham of Dayton, Ohio and Eric Winningham of Portland, Oregon; 9 grandchildren; and a brother, James (Karen) Adams of Mechanicsville, Virginia. A Goshen resident since 1974, Mr. Adams was an avid racing fan and a member of Goshen Band Boosters. He worked as a night stocker at Walmart for 18 years. He attended Goshen High School football games. Friends may call 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, October 23, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2011, funeral service will be conducted. JoAn Schaetzle of St. John's United Church of Christ will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Memorials may be made to Kyle Petty Victory Junction Gang Camp.
