Willard A. Stutzman

Willard “Willie” Stutzman, 92, of New Smyrna Beach, FL died December 6, 2024, at South Miami Baptist Hospital.

He was born February 11, 1932 in LaGrange County, IN to Abner and Elva (Troyer) Stutzman.

On June 25, 2011 he married Candy (Collard) Routson in Goshen, IN.

She survives along with his children, Cheryl (Mike) Kennedy, Brian (Vicki) Stutzman, both of Goshen, Lori A. Miller, Elkhart; seven grandchildren, Courtney (Dr. Pam) Nave, Kate (Jena) Kennedy, Cory and Marshall Stutzman, Tanner, Taylor and Tydis Miller; great-grands Chad and Kaia Kennedy, Parker, Charlotte and Jonathan Nave; and two brothers, Marian Stutzman, Elkhart and Jerry Stutzman, Sarasota, FL.

Willie is also survived by his loving stepchildren; Jon (Michelle Hale) Werbianskyj South Bend, Lisa Willis, Danielle (Victor) Campos both of Elkhart; step-grandchildren, Madilynn (Cameron) Hershberger, Natalya Werbianskyj, Taylor and Tanner Dunn, Camden and Elliot Johnson, Isabella Ramos; and a step-great granddaughter, Rue Giger.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters; JoElla Zehr and Martha “Jeannie” Carroll; and a brother Kenneth Stutzman.

Mr. Stutzman was founder of DuMor Water Specialists, Inc., Elkhart.

Willie was a longtime member of the Exchange Club of Elkhart Co., Elkhart Evening Optimist Club and a life member of the Goshen Moose Lodge. He attended school in Wawaka. He loved Racing and was well-known as he powered his yellow #88 around tracks from Canada to Florida earning the nickname “Wild Willie”.
