Wendell B. Catron, 74, of Goshen, died Monday morning, April 16, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis. He had been ill since February. He was born February 22, 1938 in Monticello, Kentucky, to Charlie and Hattie (Coyle) Catron. He married Dollie J. Dishman August 28, 1965 in Byrdtown, Tennessee. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Vicky L. (Richard M.) Martin of Topeka; a son, Ricky G. (Dawn) Catron of Goshen; five grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Kenneth) Frost of Monticello, Kentucky; and two brothers, Charlie "Frank" Catron of New Castle and Larry (Helen) Catron of Monticello, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Willard and Herman Catron; and a sister, Lillian Poynter. He attended Highland Park Baptist Church, Elkhart. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 20, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012, funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Craig Brown, Highland Park Baptist Church, Elkhart, will officiate. Burial will follow in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
