Wayne E. Chupp, 55, of Milford died Friday evening, April 29, 2016 at his home. He had been in failing health for several years.
He was born February 14, 1961 in Goshen to Emanuel and Sarah Mae (Miller) Chupp.
On May 4, 1985 he married Linda Yoder in Phoenix.
She survives along with a son, Jeff (Trisha) Chupp of Goshen; four daughters, Heidi (Nic) Miller of Columbus, Ohio, Emily (Jacob) Vargas of Goshen, and Ashley and Amber Chupp, both at home; four grandchildren; five brothers, Ura (Mary) Chupp of Nappanee, Sam (Pearl Louise) Chupp of Burr Oak, Michigan, Atlee (Wilma Jean) Chupp of Shipshewana, Ernie (Irene) Chupp and Jr. Chupp, both of Nappanee; three sisters, Ruby (Floyd) Bontrager, and Treva (Olen) Yoder, both of Goshen, and Mary (Sam) Barkman of Nappanee.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ivan and Toby Chupp.
Wayne lived most of his life in the area except for seven years in Phoenix and three years in Ohio. He was a member of Strong Tower Worship Center, Ligonier.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 1 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Strong Tower Worship Center, 502 Diamond Lake Rd., Ligonier, where a 3 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 memorial service will be held. Pastors Josh Vargas, Joe and Menno Yoder, will officiate.
A private burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier.
Memorial gifts may be directed to Strong Tower Worship Center for family medical expenses.
