Wayne D. Bontrager

Wayne D. Bontrager, 73, of Goshen  is no longer suffering, Heaven gained the sweetest man on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

He was born August 15, 1948 in Goshen to Manasses and Lydia Ann (Schrock) Bontrager.

On August 30, 2003 he married Wanda Graber in Middlebury.

She survives along with two step-daughters, Shelly (Rocco) Pavese of St. Joe, Michigan and Jennifer (Glen) Jankowski of Kalamazoo, Michigan; four grandchildren; three brothers, Glen (Katie) Bontrager of Bremen, Richard (Joyce) Bontrager of Millersburg and Dave (Elsa) Bontrager of Milford and a sister, Ruth (Chuck) Yankey of Millersburg.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Fern Bontrager; step-mother, Fannie Bontrager and a niece, Glenda Todd.

Wayne owned and operated Meadowlark Cars, Goshen. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, nature, flowers and birds. He was very kind and loved talking to people.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday March 11, and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Mel Shetler will officiate.

Burial will take place a Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Middlebury at a later time.

Memorial donations may be given to the Bontrager family.
