Warden Gene Catron

Warden Gene Catron, 71, of Goshen, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born December 21, 1949 in Welsh, West Virginia to Warden and Alice (Underwood) Catron.

On November 17, 1979 he married Linda Murdock in Goshen.

She survives along with five children, Angela (Ryan) Null of Goshen, Joel (Misty) Catron of Three Rivers, Michigan, Jeremiah (Martha) Martin of Goshen, Tim (Davanna) Martin of Kingman, and James (Charlotte) Martin of Syracuse; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Shirley) Catron of Charleston, West Virginia and a sister, Carolyn Catron of Oak Hill, West Virginia.

A great father, he loved spending time with family and especially with his grandchildren.

Mr. Catron served with the Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired as manager from LowBob’s.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.  A private Celebration of Life service is planned for January 6, 2021.
