Wanda Nessbitt Miller, 87, of Goshen passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025 at home. Her deepest desire was to be a devoted follower of our Lord Jesus Christ.
She was born January 19, 1938 in Corydon to Roy and Beatrice (Benson) Housel.
Survivors include her loving husband, James P. Miller; son, Kenton (Karen) Miller; nieces, Sandra Turner, Lea Ann (John) Galles; and nephew Stuart (Vonnie) Miller.
Over the years she found great joy in attending many birthdays and holidays with her son and daughter-in-law’s nephews and nieces; Kristian, Stefan, AnnaJane, Kaspian (Emily), Robin, Cadon and Linden Musser.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kermit Housel and Eldon Housel; brother-in-law, Dallas (Judy) Miller; and niece, Janice (John) Shields.
Wanda graduated from Spencerian Business College in Louisville, Kentucky. She worked in medical records at Norton Hospital and for several years for an orthopedic surgeon. After moving to Goshen, Wanda took pride in being a loving wife, mother, cook, den mother and nursery superintendent. She worked tirelessly to spoil her three granddogs; Frank, Finley and Cooper.
Wanda had an interest in family antiques, her garden and home landscape, and an enduring interest in encouraging her family and friends in life and faith.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
A private graveside service will be held at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
