Wanda W. Erickson

Wanda W. Erickson, 97, of Goshen, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, at Courtyard Healthcare.

She was born March 23, 1921 in Huntington to Oliver and Nora (Henderson) Geeting.

On May 13, 1938 she married Richard W. Erickson in Richmond.  He died April 9, 1980.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda McHenry of Indianapolis and Ramona (Steve) Kuiper of Goshen; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Sylvia Bradburn; three sisters, Phillippa Poehler, Lila Catlin and Margarit Moser and her companion cat, Jasper.

Mrs. Erickson worked as a seamstress for Goshen Cushion and Godfrey Marine.  She attended The Life Center.

She was a member of the Elkhart Dahlia Society and enjoyed crafts, sewing and gardening.

Friends may call Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 1 p.m., graveside service will follow at Violett Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Humane Society of Elkhart County.
