Walter Santos Ramirez Ortiz

Walter Santos Ramirez Ortiz, 50, died Saturday, July 19 at Goshen Hospital.

Walter was born on January 29, 1975 to Carlos Ortiz and Carlota Ramirez, in Canton Cerro El Nanzal, El Salvador.

He is survived by his partner Marleni Lazo; brothers, Jose, Carlos, Elmer, Dilson, and Adolfo Ortiz; sisters, Nuria, Nely, and Jeidy Ortiz.

Walter most recently worked for Lippert Components.

A time of visitation will be held Saturday, July 26, from 2-8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, July 29, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen.  Rev. Father Evaristo Olivera will officiate.

Following visitation, Walter will be returned to his home country of El Salvador for burial in the Santa Elena Cemetery in Usulutan, El Salvador.
