She was born September 29, 1937 in Pensacola, Florida to William and Sybill (Myrick) Gardner.
Survivors include daughters, Marie Shaughnessy, Pensacola, Florida, and Roberta (Kenneth) Carter, Goshen; son, Frankie (Cora) Wisgo, Pensacola, Florida; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three siblings.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gene Wisgo; two sisters and three brothers.
Virginia was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling and bingo.
Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp crematory.
Memorial contributions can be given to the family in care of Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
