Virginia Sorto, 71, of Bourbon, died at her home Monday evening, February 11, 2008. She had been ill about a year. She was born in Honduras on May 21, 1936, to Enefecio Cruz and Josefa Sorto. A homemaker, Sra. Sorto lived in Chicago for 23 years before moving to the area. She was a member of Emmanuel Christian Church in Chicago. She is survived by four sons, Rigoberto Sorto and Gorge Alberto Sorto, both of Honduras, Leopoldo Sorto of Miami, Florida, Dogoberto Sorto of Warsaw; two daughters, Dora Luz Sorto of Bourbon, and Blanca Garcia Sorto of Milford; 21 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five sisters, Malgarita, Teresa and Alejandrina Sorto, all of Honduras, Venturas Sorto of Miami, Florida, and Santos Sorto of Chicago, Illinois; and two brothers, José Maria Sorto and Pablo Sorto, both of Honduras. Visitation and funeral services will be conducted in Chicago, Illinois. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois.
