Virginia M. Myers

Virginia M. Myers, 91, of Goshen, died Wednesday morning, July 20, 2011, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born October 9, 1919 in Goshen to the late Willis and Grace D. (Strycker) Rohrer. She married Kenneth N. Myers on June 18, 1966 in Goshen. He died June 18, 1985. She is survived by two step-daughters, Phyllis (Jack) Hostetter, Bristol and Kaye (Jerry) Donovan, Goshen; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jessie Rohrer and two stepchildren, Sally Crisler and Jack Myers. Friends may call 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Plymouth United Church of Christ, Goshen, where a memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Pastor Larry Hicks will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen, at 1 p.m., Thursday, July 28, following cremation. Memorial contributions may be made to Elkhart County Humane Society or Plymouth United Church of Christ.
