Virginia Lois Livergood

Virginia Lois Livergood, 89, of South Bend and formerly of Elkhart, died Wednesday evening, August 17, 2011, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was born September 18, 1921, in Auburn to the late Frank and Lida (Montginger) Boucher. She married Ned R. Livergood in Mishawaka on June 22, 1941. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2008. She is survived by a daughter, Dorinda (Michael) Smith of South Bend; 8 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pauline Cameron of Oregon, and Lanor (Lawrence) Lung of Rome City. She was preceded in death by three sons, Teddy at birth; Jack B. and Daniel Livergood. A homemaker, Mrs. Livergood was a member of First Church of God, Goshen. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, August 19, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. An 11 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011, funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of God Mission Network.
