Virginia M. Folker, 96, of Goshen died early Thursday morning, April 7, 2016 at Courtyard Healthcare.
She was born March 30, 1920 in Goshen to Harvey F. and Gladys P. (Fuller) Rensberger.
On March 3, 1940 she married Charles B. McKee in Goshen. She later married Wilbur “Bill” C. Folker, May 14, 1950 also in Goshen.
She is survived by a daughter, Virginia L. Anderson of Syracuse; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Elizabeth Sagger of Ft. Wayne and Deanna (Donald) Miller of Goshen.
She was preceded in death by both husbands; two daughters, Patricia G. Winning and Catherine A. Folker; a son, Don M. McKee; a grandson, David Scott Meade; a sister, Patricia Rensberger; and five brothers, Loyal, Cliff, Jack, Jim and Frank Rensberger.
Virginia was formerly involved in the VFW and DAV auxiliaries and Moose Lodge. She was a member of the Goshen Women’s Bowling Assoc. and charter member of the Goshen Bowling hall of fame. Along with bowling she also enjoyed playing golf.
She worked as a computer operator at Goshen Rubber and served on the election board for many years.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where an 11 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2016 funeral service will be held. Virginia’s grandson, Brad Rogers will officiate.
Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
