Virginia R. Earnhart

Virginia R. Earnhart, 89, Goshen, died at 8:20 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2007 at Courtyard Healthcare, Goshen where she had been a patient the last three weeks. She was born March 18, 1917 in Goshen to Raymond and Fae (Prickett) Sarjent.  On October 5, 1940 in Goshen she married Carl V. Earnhart   She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Goshen where she was named Woman of the Year; she also served as secretary for the Women’s Association; and was a Campfire Girl leader.  She was a member of the Goshen High School class of 1935.   She was a homemaker.   Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Carla Marie (Donald) Myers, West Chester, Pennsylvania; one son, Douglas (Christine) Earnhart, Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren   She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Beverly Seaman.   Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday March 20, 2007 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007 with Rev. Alan Griffin of First Presbyterian Church officiating.  Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorials may be made to the Goshen Hospital Care at Home/Hospice or First Presbyterian Church.
