Virginia L. Carter

Virginia L. Carter, 60, of Goshen, died unexpectedly at her home early Sunday morning, June 9, 2013. She was born November 28, 1952 in Sturgis, Michigan to Carl and Rachel May (Middaugh) Honey, Sr. In September 1977 she married Larry Carter in Michigan. He survives along with four children, Patricia Wilson of Goshen, Richard (Jennifer) Wilson of Gas City, Randall Joseph (Shelbie Fairchild) Wilson of Goshen and Friddie (Ericka) Wilson of Elkhart; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betsy Ottman of Elkhart, and Carol (Duane) Yoder and Diana Wissman, both of Goshen; and three brothers, Ellis I. (Georgania) Ihnen of Rochester, DeWayne Honey of Cassopolis, Michigan, and Donald Ray (Juanita) Honey of Agnes, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carl Jeff Honey, Jr. A homemaker, Mrs. Carter was a member of Grace Community Church, Goshen. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where an 11 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013, funeral service will be held. Burial will follow in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
