Violet M. Culp

Violet M. Culp, 96, of Goshen died Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Greencroft Healthcare.

She was born October 17, 1922 in Goshen to Frank H. and Martha (Lehman) Martin.

On December 27, 1941 she married Marvin R. Culp in Goshen.  He died April 3, 1983.

Survivors include seven children, Carolyn Heeter of Goshen, Phyllis Roe of Syracuse, Jo Ellen (Tim) Benson of Hollywood, Maryland, Delbert (Luetta) Culp of Indianapolis, Donald (Sara) Culp of Mio, Michigan, Dale (Cynthia) Culp of Goshen and Dennis (Lucinda) Culp of Syracuse; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ivan and Titus Martin.

Violet was a loving homemaker and member of Waterford Mennonite Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Thursday, November 1, 2018 all at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Cemetery, Goshen.
