Viola M. York

Viola M. York, 77, of Goshen, died Monday, April 13, 2015 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. She was born June 5, 1937 in Elkhart County to Jess and Mary (Chupp) Chupp. She is survived by two sisters, Irene Miller of Archbold, Ohio and Dorothy Nisley of LaGrange; a brother, Lester Chupp of Goshen; and a step-sister, Millie (Levi) Schmucker of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roger York, three brothers, Vernon, Delbert and LeRoy Chupp, and a step-brother, Glendon Jones. Living in Florida most of her married life, Viola worked as a press operator. Visitation will be two hours prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, April 17, 2015 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Pastor Mel Shetler of Maple City Chapel will officiate. Burial will follow at Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
