Viola M. Lambright Schrock, 92, of Goshen, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Goshen Hospital.
She was born January 9, 1925 in Yoder, Kansas to Valentine and Barbara (Yoder) Schrock.
On June 14, 1942 she married Freeman Lambright in Topeka. He died July 5, 1992. On November 10, 2001 she married David Schrock. He died August 19, 2014.
Survivors include a daughter, LaVerda Borntrager of Goshen; three sons, Mervin (Ruth Ann) Lambright of Ogden, Utah, Gerald “Gary” (Ellen Lambright of Bristol and Vernon “Vern” (Loretta) Lambright of Syracuse; five step-children, Stephen, Velma, Judy, Carolyn and Shirley; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Haarer and Betty (Perry) Marner and three brothers, Floyd, Ernest and Glenn Schrock.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Lambright Schrock was preceded in death by four siblings, a granddaughter, a son-in-law, Ernie Borntrager and two step-children.
Viola was a member of Townline Conservative Mennonite Church until her second marriage when she started attending Griner Mennonite Church.
Friends and family may call Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the Friday, February 3, 2017, 10 a.m., funeral service at Griner Mennonite Church, Middlebury.
