Vernon Dwight Sharp

Vernon D. Sharp, 86, died Saturday, December 7, 2019, at home.

He was born December 25, 1932 in Goshen to Clarence and Mary (Linn) Sharp.

On December 29, 1952 he married Ida Jane Hawk in New Paris.

Survivors include a daughter, Penny Miller of Goshen; grandchildren, Crystal Shorter and Cody Lung; four great-grandchildren; a step-great grandchild and a brother, Arthur Sharp, Sr. of Goshen.

Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters and a grandson.

A lifetime Goshen resident, Mr. Sharp drove truck for Goshen Iron and Metal for 37 years.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.
