Mr. Chupp was a lifetime area resident and member of the Dunlap United Methodist Church. He worked for more than 20 years at American Steel Rule Die, after owning and operating his own shoe repair business in Elkhart. He was a talented handyman, able to fix most anything put in front of him. He enjoyed antique steam tractors, going to flea markets, festivals and auctions, and spending time outdoors. His love for his family was always known, and his faith in God was strong. A private family graveside service is planned at Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
