Vera I. Reynolds, 91, of Goshen passed away Sunday, July 16, at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born June 13, 1932 in Paw Paw, Michigan to John Walter and Helen Irene (Swinehart) Canen.
Survivors include three children, Christine (Rick) Hopper of Edwardsburg, Michigan and David (Cindy) Reynolds and Maria Robinson, both of Elkhart; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a brother, Robert Canen of Laredo, Texas.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Reynolds on February 20, 2021; a granddaughter, Stephanie Gray and siblings, Ida Mae Letner, Marilyn Gouker, Caryl Canen and John L. Canen.
A 1950 graduate of Elkhart High School, Vera provided outstanding caregiver services for REAL Services and Council on Aging. She also worked for GTE of Elkhart, Whitehall Laboratories and Hermseal.
A member of New Paris Church of the Brethren, Vera enjoyed softball, music and tennis. She sang with Evergreen Singers.
Visitation will start at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 24, followed by an 11:30 a.m. memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Billy Hesketh will officiate.
A private burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
