Vanessa Kilmer

Vanessa Kilmer, 67, of Goshen passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.

She married Timothy R. Kilmer on October 18, 1997 in Goshen.

He survives along with her mother, Sue (Oldfield) Long; her children, Devin Garcia, Ryan Garcia and Chad Garcia, all of Goshen; step-son, Timothy (Karlie) Kilmer of Goshen; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Valerie Perry of Goshen, Steve (Mary Jane) Mishler of Ellettsville, Lindy (Jeff) Gruntman of Warsaw, and Skip (Tamara) Long of Goshen.

She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Marion and Maddy Misher; her loving step-father, Larry Long; and a step-son Anthony Paul Kilmer.

A 1975 graduate of Goshen High School, Vanessa was a member of Community Church of Waterford where she served as an elder. Vanessa had a strong faith and did not know a stranger; she would never turn anyone away. She enjoyed scrapbooking the memories made with family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Community Church of Waterford on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, January 4 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at the church.
