Van Arthur Fore

Van Arthur Fore, 64, of Goshen died Saturday February 17, 2018 at his home.

He was born September 22, 1953 in Elkhart.

On August 16, 1986 he married Julie K. Smith.

She survives along with his parents, Jesse Ruth (Dunlap) Moll of Goshen and Kenneth “Pete” (Jeanne) Fore of Elkhart; and siblings, Gregg (Nancy) Fore of Middlebury, Bart (Debbi) Fore of Elkhart and Terri Schwartz of Osceola.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Fore.

He graduated from Northridge High School in 1971 where he played varsity basketball.  He worked as a glazier and installer for Stalter Glass for more than 20 years.

He was an athletic, passionate, and competitive man, and an avid NASCAR fan.  Van enjoyed racing go-carts in his late 40’s and 50’s, winning the Senior Division “shifter class” in his last year of competition.

His body has been donated to the Indiana University Medical Center.
