Valentine J. Stutzman

Valentine J. Stutzman, 72, of Marion, Indiana, died Friday morning, June 8, 2007, at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System.   He was born on February 25, 1935, in Nappanee, Indiana, to Jonas and Amanda (Miller) Stutzman.   A heavy equipment operator for Eli Schmucker, Mr. Stutzman was a member of the D.A.V.   He is survived by two brothers, Joseph Stutzman of Goshen and Fred Stutzman of Sarasota, Florida; and six sisters, Sarah (Willis) Berkey of Bourban, Dorothy (Kenneth) Geiger of Nashville, Michigan, Maggie (Delmar) Gunden of Pigeon, Michigan, Ruby (Devon) Martin of Flushing, Michigan, Fannie Mae Birky of Sarasota, Florida, and Gloria Harper of St. Cloud, Florida.   Friends will be received 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   A 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2007, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Vernon Bontreger will officiate.   Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee. Memorial contributions may be given to the D.A.V.
