Trevor Zollinger

Trevor Zollinger, 38, of Elkhart passed away Friday, August 30, 2024 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne surrounded by family and loved ones.

He was born December 6, 1985 in Goshen.

He is survived by his father, Michael (Elisa) Zollinger of Ligonier; mother, Vera (Horban) Shank of White Pigeon, Michigan; life partner of 17 years, Stephanie DeJong and son, Tre Zollinger, both of Elkhart; and five siblings, Taryn (Ethan) Hussey, Kara Zollinger, Tyler Shank, Kylee Zollinger and Jenna (Billy) Pitts.

A 2004 graduate of Concord High School, Trevor went on to study at Western Michigan University. He had many interests especially grounded in nature; camping, fishing, rock and crystal collecting, woodworking and whittling. He studied holistic medicine and enjoyed learning from GAIA network programs.

Trevor was an avid and accomplished gardener, botanist and talented artist. He will be remembered as a beacon of light to those around him, remembering how he made them smile.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home., Goshen. A 10 a.m. Thursday, September 5, funeral service will be conducted, also at the funeral home. Pastor John Randolph, People’s Bible Church will officiate.

Burial will follow at Hire Cemetery, Millersburg.
