Tommy N. Siler,82, of North Webster and formerly of Goshen, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at Goshen Hospital.
He was born August 1, 1939 in Jellico, Tennessee to Nelson and Mary Ida (Leach) Siler.
On June 1, 1964 he married Barbara L. Brown in Jellico, Tennessee. She passed away December 8, 2002.
Survivors include eight daughters, Connie (Rick) Sapp of Elkhart, Debbie Whirledge of Mishawaka, Peggy (Mike) York-Davis of Syracuse, Janie York of Florida, Pamela (Tim, Jr.) Berkey of Goshen, Sandra (Tom) Stanfill of North Webster, Karmen (Steve) Bertsche of Middlebury and Marissa (Mike) Roberts of Goshen; two sons, Andrew (Riann) Minnich and Christopher (Ashley) Minnich, both of Florida; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are five siblings, Margie (Ray) Evans, Margaret Siler, Milford (Nina) Siler, James (Joann) Siler and Sherry Osborne.
Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Phyllis Siler, Elizabeth Nichols and Katherine Eash.
Tommy worked as a truck driver, retiring from Kopf Leasing. He was an active member of Moose Lodge 836, Goshen, where he served as a past Governor and legion member. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union and the former Goshen Civitan Club.
Tommy volunteered for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and was an avid Notre Dame and Tennessee Volunteers fan.
Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
A 10:30 a.m. Moose service will be conducted Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the funeral home, followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service. Rev. Terry Tyler will officiate.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
