Tommy C. Riege, 48, of Goshen, died unexpectedly at his home Friday evening, June 22, 2012, of natural causes. He was born January 7, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio, to Paul and Jennifer (Powers) Patton. He is survived by his father, Paul of Goshen; three daughters, Kimberly Riege of Huber Heights, Ohio, Brittany (Chad) Newcomb of Englewood, Ohio and Kristen Fowler of Bloomington; two grandchildren, Gavin Riege and Ava Newcomb; and three siblings, Mark (Yvonne) Riege of Wakarusa, Ken (Retha) Riege of Gallup, New Mexico and Bowen Whiteoak of Coventry, England. He was preceded in death by his mother Jennifer Patton May 9, 2004. A 1983 graduate of Twin Valley South High School, West Alexandria, Ohio, Tommy moved to Goshen three years ago and attended The Lighthouse Church, Goshen. He did construction work, removing asbestos, and enjoyed fishing. Friends may call Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the 12, noon, funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastors Mark and Yvonne Riege, his brother and sister-in-law, will officiate. Burial will follow in Hess Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alcoholics Anonymous group that meets at Freedom Hall, Elkhart.
