Toby L. Wheeler

Toby L. Wheeler, 36, of Goshen, died Monday, September 14 at Elkhart Hospice House.  He was hit by a train on August 23, 2009, at Lincoln and 9th St. in Goshen. He was born in Elkhart on July 1, 1973, to the late Ralph Raymond Wheeler and Linda (Lymangrover) Wheeler of Goshen. He attended Goshen High School and had worked at Forest River.  He enjoyed working on cars and going to the New Paris Speedway. He is survived by his mother; a daughter, Eden (Michael) Wheeler of Goshen; a son, Tobiace Wheeler of Goshen; a step-daughter, Heaven Hagerman of Goshen; a grandson; two sisters, Brenda (Mike) Smith and Judy (Jeff) Hodge, both of Goshen; a brother, Raymond (Julie) Wheeler of Wakarusa; and a maternal grandmother, Daisy Cripe of Plymouth. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Heaven Wheeler. Friends may call 12 to 2 p.m., Friday, September 18, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home  where a 2:00 p.m., funeral service will be conducted.  Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be made to the family.
