Timothy E. Burtsfield

Timothy E. Burtsfield, 61, of Millersburg, died peacefully April 1, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born January 9, 1961, in Elkhart to Donald E. and Evelyn (Stroup) Burtsfield. He married Greta Wimmer on April 9, 1988 in New Paris.

Along his father and wife, he is survived by two children, Austin (Shelby) Burtsfield of Brashear, Missouri and Mariah (Brian) Pluimer of Millersburg; two grandchildren, Rhett Burtsfield and Koe Pluimer and a sister, Kathy (Brandon) Germano of Huntertown.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Burtsfield on March 18, 2016.

A 1979 Fairfield High School graduate, Timothy attended Purdue University for one year. He was a truck driver at MSJ Logistics, Benton and enjoyed restoring his 1982 Chevy Silverado and working on the farm with Grandpa Burtsfield. He loved his children and grandsons.

Visitation will be Monday, April 4, 2022 from  4 to 8 p.m., at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where a 10 a.m. funeral service will take place Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Pastors Lyle Miller and John Randolph will officiate.

A burial will follow at Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.

Memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
