Thomas M. Zollinger

Thomas M. Zollinger, 78, of Elkhart died Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born June 25, 1944 in Goshen to Jack and Helen (Waffle) Zollinger. They preceded him in death.

On January 24, 1969 he married Alice Elliot.

She survives along with two children, Michael (Becky) Zollinger of Garland, Texas, and Michelle (Jeremy) Granger of Elkhart; and eight grandchildren, Cyprian (Sarah) Zollinger, Elise Zollinger, Katrina Zollinger, Ethan Granger, Owen Granger, Tristan Zollinger, Javon Granger and Jaylynn Granger.

Tom served in the Indiana National Guard for six years. He was an insurance agent for Western & Southern Life for 20 years, and retired after 15 years from Utilimaster.

He was a member of Sugar Grove Church, and the Elkhart Coin Club. Tom was an avid collector of coins for more than 65 years. He collected postcards for 45 years, and also collected glassware.

Visitation will be Monday, January 23 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Sugar Grove Church, 58512 Old C.R. 17, Goshen, prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service. Pastor Rick Donald will officiate.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
