Thomas L. Stewart, Jr.

Thomas L. Stewart, Jr., 60, of Goshen, died unexpectedly at his home Saturday, November 25, 2017.

He was born May 21, 1957 in Kokomo to Thomas and Cora (Bennet) Stewart.

On July 23, 1977 he married Lory Lynn Garcia in Kokomo.

She survives along with a son, Jason Stewart of Elkhart; a daughter, Rebecca (Anthony) Yakel of Cassopolis, Michigan; four grandchildren, Mckenna Stewart and Waylon, Madalynn and William Yakel and his beloved dog, Henry.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Randy Stewart.

A Goshen resident since 1988, Mr. Stewart worked for American Millwork Corporation.

He graduated from Haworth High School and 1975 and earned an associate’s degree from Indiana University, Kokomo.  He was a Mason.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, December 3, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Goshen Moose Lodge #836, 388 Johnston St., Goshen.
