Thomas J. Rassi, Jr.

Thomas J. Rassi, Jr., 82, of San Diego, California, recently passed away in 2021.

He was born July 6, 1938 in Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Rassi, Sr. and mother, Irene (Slater) Rassi..

He is survived by his wife, Erleen (Taylor) Rassi and a daughter, Deanna Rassi, both of San Diego; his step-mother, Doris Rassi of Middlebury; and six siblings, Charles (Cheryl) Rassi, Timothy (Jacque) Rassi, Winifred Catapano, Terry (Irene) Rassi, Cynthia Fites and Rick (Barbara) Rassi.

Tommy Jr. graduated from Middlebury High School in 1957.  He married Erleen in 1960 and they moved to San Diego where he served in the U.S. Navy from 1958- 1962.  Tom served as a reserve officer for the San Diego Auxiliary police.  He also served in his community church as a leader in the children’s program, AWANA.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 29, 2021, from 1- 2 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
