Thomas Alan Crum

Thomas Alan Crum, 60, of Goshen, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born April 12, 1961, in Columbus, Indiana, to James E. Crum and Nancy Sovine Crum.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Crum of Goshen; two daughters, Catharine Crum and Jaimee Crum both of Indianapolis; a grandson, Maxwell; two brothers, Douglas Crum of Goshen and James E. Crum, Jr. of Mount Airy, Maryland.  Also surviving are three nephews, Charles, Alan James, and Phillip; and a niece, Courtney.

He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Crum and grandparents, Tom and Oliva Sovine, longtime Goshen school teachers and residents.

A very compassionate person, Tom helped many people as a crisis intervention manager in Frederick, Maryland.  His passions and hobbies were eclectic.  His most loved passions were fishing, magic and golf.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially at Lake Tomahawk in Minocqua, Wisconsin.  Tom spent many boyhood summers there.

Cremation services will take place at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
